By bringing together Cultural Production and Community Tourism, Araribá envisions possibilities for actions that can contribute to a more balanced future for humanity and the planet, combining cultural and artistic manifestations and ways of life that escape market dictates.
Founded in 2009 as a result of the experience built up since 1994 by its creators, Araribá works continuously to increase the visibility and sustainability of traditional communities and independent creators of all arts, so that they can freely pass on their knowledge and highlight their importance as determining agents for maintaining integrity and diversity in today's world.
Community tourism
Araribá Turismo specializes in community-based tourism, scientific expeditions and cultural and study trips, with extensive experience in operating and leading groups of young people and adults on national and international itineraries.
On demand, it also creates and operates exclusive or personalized itineraries, symbiotically linked to the cultural and environmental preservation of the intended destinations, with respect and appreciation for the ways of life of the local inhabitants. Araribá actively contributes to the development of community-based tourism in a sustainable and responsible manner.
Cultural production
Araribá Produções Culturais was created based on the demands of the communities with which Araribá Turismo has worked for decades. Valuing culture through operational support for the circulation of shows and the recording and sharing of cultural manifestations and traditional knowledge is one of our fundamental principles.
We are also dedicated to fostering high-quality artistic work, based on diverse, non-hegemonic worldviews, both in terms of the modalities practiced and the representativeness of the symbolic universes that give rise to them.
