Our first cultural travel projects were carried out in traditional quilombola, caiçara and indigenous communities in the mid-1990s. Since then, with the great learning we have always received, we have sought to mediate travelers, institutions, companies and local partners who align with and contribute to our values. Our team is made up of colleagues who have learned to accompany people on journeys into the natural environment and to present the peculiarities of the environments, talking about their experiences both in tourism and in mapping, data collection and research.

The careful selection of suppliers and assembly of itineraries means that a large part of the resources earned on our trips stays in the communities, encouraging the use of nature as a source of income and favoring its conservation. The practice of a policy of partnerships and earnings is directly related to the preservationist and socio-environmental stance.

Specially geared towards scientific research, our expeditions are supported by a renowned team of researchers, from the preparation of the expeditions to the leading of the groups. Biology, geology, history, sociology, archaeology and arts are our main areas of operation.

We research, develop and carry out trips and environmental study activities suitable for different disciplines and age groups, including higher education. We work with educational institutions and educators to guide and collaborate in organizing and carrying out this type of pedagogical practice.
